Blogger Gadgets

     Blogger offers many different types of gadgets that can be added to someone's blog. I got to explore all the different gadgets on the site last class period, and added a few to my blog. First, we added a link list to all the sites we've been to for quick navigation off of the blog. Then, we added a few links on the tops of our blogs for the class blog and Mrs. James Web Toolbox. We also were able to explore all the other gadgets for blogger.
     To add a gadget to your blog, go to the design menu on the top right corner of the blog. When you re on the design page, click on the 'add gadget' button, and choose which gadget you want!
 

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a social bookmarking site that can be used to gather all of your favorite links in one place, and those links can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet.

Image Chef

Image Chef is a very fun and interesting site. On this site, someone can make many different kinds of images with text in them. Some of the images are still shots, and some can be animated. There are many different categories of images you can make, and all of them are very fun.

Avatar

An avatar is a representation of someone on the internet without using a real life picture. Most of the time the avatar is cartoony.  Most of the time, you would use an avatar while running a blog, posting on different types of forums, or while playing different games on the internet.



There are many different types of avatar site that can be used to create your own personal avatar, such as this site.

How I spend my time on the internet.

Hi, my name is Patrick.  When I'm on the internet, I usually am playing World of Warcraft with friends, talking in Ventrilo or Skype with friends, or looking at many different types of gaming forums.  Sometimes I will get on my Facebook account, but it really isn't a very big thing with me as it is to other people. I will sometimes go to a few game sites, but if I'm at home, I usually don't play those games when I have a bigger and better selection(Flash games aren't the best.).
      If I'm just on the internet with nothing really to do, I'm usually checking out a few different types of gaming forums, mostly my World of Warcraft guild's forums, or checking out the WoW official forums or Call of Duty forums.
